SCARLETT IS ON THE WAY!!!!

     Today at 1:00 PM I started having contractions about 5 minutes apart.  At 3:00 PM we called the midwife and asked her what we should do.  She recommended that we start heading to the hospital so that they could at least check everything out.  We arrived at the hospital around 3:30 and got everything checked out.  The contractions were still coming about every five minutes and they said I was 2-3 cm dilated and about 80% effaced.  Since then I have been admitted to the hospital and an IV was put in to keep me hydrated.  Since the IV was placed the contractions started to slow down, so they have recently started a small dose of oxytocin to start contractions more frequently.  That's all for now, we will try and keep everyone updated as we progress, but may not post anything until after little Scarlett is here!
